There’s something fascinating in the history of abandoned places. Uncovering the truth sometimes reveals a corrupt owner, or maybe even a ghosts story or two. Sometimes, it’s just a sad place from my childhood that I pull from the dregs of my memory. I think that themeparks and dead malls fascinate me the most; themeparks because of their deteriorating child-like innocence, and dead malls because of how abandoned they can be even before they close their doors.
